“Tomato Tomato” Expedition Update - May 27, 2026
On May 20, 2026 we flew Meredith Edwards, Ross Hill, Cameron Neil, and Jeremy Liebherr expedition name, “Tomato Tomato” to Kahiltna Basecamp with goals to spend 3 weeks in the Alaska Range attempting to climb Denali via the West Buttress route.
May 27:
“Weve been camped at camp 1. Two of our team members have had colds. Even though speed is the goal of the trip safety is our main priority.
We cached at 9.4 yesterday and plan to move to camp 2 tomorrow now that we are all feeling better.”
